Yeh Hain India Meri Jaan..

We know that India is a land of diversity and has surprises in store for even the most well traveled.

Will feature series of snapshots depicting our such little quirks which makes us so essentially Indian.

Presenting the first one. See if you can figure out what makes this picture so Indian :-)

And congratulations and all the best to Chitra for taking the step to quit smoking :-). I hope this article inspired her :P

Thats why I always say...be moral..be moral..and you can avoid AIDs. Of course, not smoking might also help. Maybe :-P

India is a land of diversity, where most people 'preach without practicing'.

The text on the autorickshaw driver's seat reads out 'No Smoking' and 'Natikta Paawtha'(Follow Ethics). But the notions and ethics that he (the autorickshaw driver) is trying to preach are not actually being practiced by him, as he is smoking a biddi. This is so Indian.

Moral of the story: 'Always Practice what you preach'

Dude, I don't see nothing wrong with the picture!

The NO SMOKING sign is for the people in the backseat! The driver can't even see the sign! Are you sure he is literate enough to read? Probably, RTO just put that sticker on the seat when the vehicle went for passing.

No lateral thinking! That is what is wrong with India!
